CRYSTAL SIMON
Crystal Simon is a highly-skilled professional with more than fourteen years experience designing and implementing organizational enhancement strategies. In 2005, she founded CS Consulting, a firm that specializes in organizational development and coaching. In her capacity with CS Consulting, Crystal partners with organizations to make them more efficient and effective. Crystal has led large-scale projects for her clients in a variety of disciplines such as project management, process redevelopment, change management, executive coaching, and strategic communications. Clients have included: Blue Shield of California, Single Stop USA, The City of Oakland, Oakland Unified School District, the National Equity Project and the East Bay Regional Occupational Center, as well as several small businesses and individual clients.
Prior to launching CS Consulting, Crystal held senior positions in prominent organizations such as Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford and the Executive Office of the Mayor in Washington, DC. She also worked at PSComm, LLC as an organizational development consultant supporting clients within the U.S. and abroad. In these roles she shaped legislative policy and developed several multi-agency collaborations that supported community health and development. Crystal has founded and grown several early education, literacy, after-school, health, safety, and adult learning initiatives.
Crystal holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Washington University of St. Louis and a Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Sussex in Brighton, England. She earned a certificate in executive and life coaching at the world-renowned Coaches Training Institute. She has an extensive background in leadership development and also earned a certificate in Leadership from the Coaches Training Institute.
Crystal has practiced dance, yoga, and movement work for over twenty years.
